Cookie Policy
Short version: this site sets one item of storage without asking — the record of your own privacy choice. Everything else waits for your permission.
Effective 24 August 2026.
1. What this covers
“Cookies” here means cookies and every equivalent technology that stores information on, or reads information from, your device: local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, SDKs and device fingerprinting. European law (Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive) treats them all the same way, and so do we.
2. Our rule
Nothing that is not strictly necessary loads until you allow it. There are no pre-ticked boxes, no cookie wall, and no “by continuing to browse you agree.” Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting — both are one click on the first screen of the banner.
3. What we actually use
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
otg_consent_v1 | Strictly necessary | Records which categories you accepted or rejected, so we can honour it and prove we asked | 12 months, in your browser’s local storage | Us |
| YouTube cookies and local storage | Third-party media | Set by Google only if you click to play an embedded video. Used by Google for playback, preferences and its own purposes. | Varies; see Google’s policy | Google LLC |
We run no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no social media trackers. The analytics and marketing toggles exist in the banner so that nothing can be added later without your permission.
4. Embedded video
Video on this site is hosted by YouTube. We use the privacy-enhanced
youtube-nocookie.com domain, and we do not load the player at all until
you click it. Until you click, no request goes to Google and nothing is written to
your device by them. Once you click, Google’s
Privacy
Policy applies to what happens next.
5. Changing your mind
You can change your choices at any time: .
You can also clear this site’s storage through your browser settings, which resets everything and makes the banner appear again. Guides: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge.
6. Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we detect it and switch every optional category off automatically. You will not see a banner, because you have already answered. We do this for every visitor, not just those in states that require it. We do not respond to the older Do Not Track header, because no agreed standard for it exists.
